My Daily Skin Care Routine

So, I love having soft, spot-free skin.  If my face hasn't been washed, I can't really start my day, so here's a blog on my daily skin routine! 

Do you ever wake in the morning and your face just feels super sleepy, even if you've had an amazing sleep the night before?  Mine always does!  I'm all for trying new products and the latest products I've been using are the Neutrogena Daily Scrub, Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash and the My Skin No Shine Mattifying Moisture Lotion.  


So, the Neutrogena Daily Scrub:


I've literally only been using this a week or so but I find it absolutely amazing!  I'm very fussy over face scrubs and washes but needed a change, so chose this.  The first thing I did after I had purchased this in Tesco was come home and experiment with it.  Went up to the bathroom, dampened my face with warm water, and applied the scrub all over my face, gradually scrubbing it into my face.  As I left it for a minute or so, I felt my face being cooled down by the scrub, when usually I feel a scrub makes your face a bit hot, and it just felt fantastic!  After I washed the scrub off, my face was super smooth! Again, amazing! 



The Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash:

As I was up in Tesco buying the scrub, I thought I'd try out the Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash which is forever being advertised on TV.  So, after scrubbing my face, put squirted the face wash into my hands, and applied it all over my face.  You always end up looking a bit funny with a face wash on your face with all of the foam, but that's the fun part about washing your face.  It's all worth it in the end!  So, I left the face wash on for another minute or so before washing it off.  I believe that my face felt even more amazing after using the scrub! 

Maybe I should rename this blog, "Amazing!", aha.


And, the  My Skin No Shine Mattifying Moisture Lotion:

I've been using this moisturiser for nearly a year and to be honest, I'm never, ever going back to any other moisturiser!  My Skin is a Tesco skin care brand and it may be cheap, but it's absolutely brilliant!  It's aimed at teenage skin, but I honestly think anybody could use it.  It's only like, €3 for the tube and last a long time.  There's a bonus to this product; it smells amazing!  After you apply it to your face, not only is your face super, super soft, it feels like you've got a fruit salad on it!



So, that's my daily skin routine as of April 2012, which I do twice a day; day and night.  This will probably change when I run out of these products and if it does, I shall make a new blog about it.

Oh, I should probably tell you about the make up wipes that are super cheap, and absolutely FANTASTIC!  

The make up wipes I've been using for months and months are from the My Skin brand in Tesco.  These make up wipes are possibly the most amazing face wipes that I have ever used and guess what?  They're only 99c!  When you're going to bed and you're after taking off your make up with these wipes, and doing my skin routine afterwards, you go to bed feeling super, super fresh!
